I am learning to love myself more and more every season; so far I love my no makeup face (most of the time) and I am getting more comfortable going braless with all types of clothing. My age hasn’t been a deterrent for me in terms of the type of clothes I choose to wear, and I have accepted that I have hair everywhere and I need it where it is. I am, however, still very conscience about my stomach, but I eat too much and exercise too little, so complaining about a less than perfect body is definitely a first world problem. I am so lucky. Seriously, if that’s the worst of my problems (crossing my fingers) then I might as well be known as the happiest, fullest, kid on the planet. =D
Judge as you will, (I will cry inside) but I know I am very lucky to have my health and the ability to do this type of shoot in the first place. I will work on loving my tummy, and I hope you will accept your body and stay healthy with me! Let’s do this together! #loveyourself
Without further ado, I introduce you to my (most likely photoshopped by a photographer) swimsuit day of awkwardness, featuring lots of laughs. Enjoy.
Staying true to yourself without letting your insecurities get in your way can be difficult, I know, I struggle with it daily. How have you gotten over your insecurities?
